Roman Travertine quarry slab texture and vein pattern

Roman Classico & Navona Travertine

Sourced directly from Barco Quarries, Tivoli, Italy

Precipitated from geothermal calcium carbonate springs over millennial cycles, Roman Travertine remains the quintessential foundation of European classical and minimalist monuments. In our atelier, we work with cross-cut slabs where internal cavitation produces natural acoustic dampening.

Mineral ClassificationSedimentary Calcium Carbonate (CaCO3)
Dry Bulk Density2,450 – 2,520 kg/m³
Flexural Strength11.4 MPa (EN 12372)
Standard Atelier FinishMicro-honed 400-grit, unfilled surface pores
Typical ApplicationMonolithic portal frames, flooring, bathtubs

Cast architectural bronze metal sheet with hand-rubbed wax finish

Hand-Patinated Architectural Bronze

Forged & Finished in Brescia, Lombardy

Our architectural bronze is an intentional alloy of copper, zinc, and tin, cold-treated with proprietary sulfur solutions to induce rich chiaroscuro patinas ranging from warm bistre to dark walnut. Unlacquered wax allows the metal to record the life of the home.

Alloy CompositionCu 88% • Sn 10% • Zn 2% (Architectural CuSn10)
Tensile Strength310 – 380 MPa
Thermal Conductivity50 W/(m·K)
Surface ProtectionCold organic carnauba and beeswax seal
Typical ApplicationPivoting entrance gates, bespoke taps, reveal trims

Belgian blue limestone with organic marine fossils and fine crystals

Belgian Blue Limestone (Pierre Bleue)

Quarried in Soignies, Wallonia, Belgium

Over 340 million years old, Belgian Blue Stone contains micro-fossils of ancient marine crinoids. When hand-honed, its subtle charcoal depth provides a striking counterweight to warm travertine and pale linen drapery.

Petrographic NameEncrinite Limestone
Water Absorption0.22% (Highly frost and stain resistant)
Compressive Strength155 MPa
Acoustic CharacterDense reflective dampening
Typical ApplicationKitchen monolithic islands, outdoor courtyards

Smoked European oak joinery with shadow gaps and bronze pivots

Smoked Black Forest Bog Oak

Harvested in Black Forest Riparian Zones, Germany

Submerged for centuries under anaerobic mineral riverbeds, our bog oak develops natural dark charcoal tannins without chemical dyes or artificial stains. Finished with cold-pressed natural plant oils.

Botanical SourceQuercus Robur (Aged Riparian Bog Submersion)
Moisture Equilibrium8% – 10% climate-kilned
Acoustic AbsorptionNRC 0.35 (Concealed micro-cavity backing)
Surface OilOrganic linseed & matte tree-wax formulation
Typical ApplicationFull-height shadow-gap doors, library partitions
